Men’s Rugby Imports Player of the Week

Player: Matt Demm
School: Siena College
Position: Flanker
Class: Senior

A four year starter at flanker, Demm has led from the front for Siena College in its first three game. The two year captain had a banner day on Saturday, scoring three tries, leading the team in tackles, and causing a half of dozen turnovers at the breakdown. With a solid performance in the 43-12 victory over Hofstra, Demm is our Men’s Rugby Imports Player of the Week.

Women’s Rugby Imports Player of the Week

Player: Amanda Ormanian
School: SUNY-Binghamton
Position: Scrumhalf
Class: Junior

Ormanian scored all five of the Bearcats tries this weekend in a 27-5 win over Hofstra.The scrum half pioneered the offense, scoring two of her tries off of 30 plus meter runs and scoring the other three off of well-executed penalties. Along with nearly a dozen tackles and a strong presence at the breakdown, Ormanian earned the the Women’s Rugby Imports Player of The Week
