Men’s Rugby Imports Player of the Week

Player: Matt Calton
School: Sacred Heart
Position: Scrum half
Class: Senior

Calton has been a leader for the undefeated Sacred Heart all season and his exemplary play this weekend contributed to a 53-12 win over Hofstra. The scrum half scored two tries and executed the offense clinically. His great vision and understanding earns him the Men’s Rugby Imports Player of the Week.

Women’s Rugby Imports Player of the Week

Player: Kelsey Silver
School: Siena College
Position: full back
Class: Junior

Silver had a day to remember at fullback for Siena College in its win over Hofstra. The junior scored four tries and assisted on two others. Siena has made great strides after an 0-5 season last year, and Silver is a huge reason why. Her efforts earn her the Women’s Rugby Imports Player of the Week.
