I have put in a bid for the Tri-State 7s winner to receive an Automatic Qualification (AQ). However, just about every conference has also requested an AQ and only 7 will get one as USA Rugby want some flexibility to accept At-Large teams.

Given the good showing by William Paterson University last year there is a good chance the Tri-State 7s winner would be accepted as either an AQ or At-Large.
